We specialize in developing and operating class “A” multifamily and mixed-use projects in supply-constrained, high-barrier-to-entry markets.  We concentrate on off-market transactions and assets of 150-units and larger.

Craig Swanson- Principal

Craig is a founding principal of Irvine Asset Group. He is responsible for Acquisition, Development, and Finance. Craig has more than twenty years’ experience in commercial real estate and architecture. Prior to Irvine Asset Group, Craig was senior director of acquisitions at BRE Properties, where he was responsible more than $1 billion in Southern California land acquisitions. Prior to BRE, Craig was vice president of development at The Irvine Company, where he was responsible for the development of 6,000 multifamily units. Craig has also worked for the Macklowe Organization in New York and Los Angeles. 

Education

Craig holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Architecture from Arizona State University and completed graduate studies in real estate finance at UCLA. Craig is a licensed architect and real estate broker, is a member of the Urban Land Institute, American Institute of Architects, and is a past board director for the Central City Association and LA Headquarters Association of Los Angeles.
